#CHILDHOOD
Austria
Through the project, implemented by the non-profit association Starklar, 100 children/refugees between 2 and 6 years old participated in group activities to learn German. The activities also involved the children’s parents in workshops, laboratories, and seminars to help them gain knowledge and confidence in dealing with multilingualism in their everyday life.

In 2022, the winners were announced during an online workshop introduced by Ernest Gnan – Head of the Economic Analysis Division of OeNB and SUERF Secretary General – and Pier Carlo Padoan – UniCredit President.
#EMERGENCY
Czech Republic and Slovenia
In 2020, the Foundation's Board of Directors decided to launch a call for action to support the countries in which UniCredit operates to face the Covid-19 emergency. The employees from the Czech Republic and Slovenia responded immediately to the call, raising a total of 50 thousand euros, which was matched by the Foundation.
