Bosnia and Herzegovina

The project was born to provide the Put u život Orašje association with professionals – educator-rehabilitator, speech therapist-audiologist, socio-pedagogue, and clinical psychologist– who could offer free individual treatments to 80 children with disabilities, in order to help them integrate into the community.

Serbia

The UniCredit Foundation has been running the Crivelli Europe scholarship competition for more than two decades. The scholarship is open to students enrolled in all universities located in the countries in which the Group operates. In 2020, we assigned two 65 thousand euros scholarships for a PhD programme in economics or finance abroad lasting two years.         
In 2021, the fellowship was given to Jana Obradovic, a Serbian student admitted to the PhD in economics at Northwestern University.

Croatia

At the end of 2020, a devastating earthquake struck Sisak-Moslavina County, causing loss of life and extensive property damage. A fundraising campaign was immediately organised internally, among the UniCredit staff, with the Foundation allocating an additional sum of 100 thousand euros. In a very short time, the fundraiser involved more than 350 employees, raising over 115 thousand euros and enabling the distribution of food, financial support and a home to all those who had lost theirs. Aid to the population was distributed through the Croatian Red Cross and the Voice of Entrepreneurs Association.
