UniCredit Foundation launches the Call for Europe 2021

UniCredit Foundation launches the Call for Europe 2021 to support projects focused on children needs in all European countries where UniCredit operates (except Italy). A total contribution of € 500,000 will be allocated to this initiative and split among the Banks of UniCredit perimeter.

In particular, the Call will:

1. enhance awareness of childhood needs in the territories;
2. encourage our Banks to monitor solidarity initiatives that the communities of their territories carry out in relation to this topic;
3. stimulate our Banks to meet the main needs of their communities on childhood issues.

Each Bank/Country will send by 28 February 2022 a short-list of 5 projects to UniCredit Foundation indicating the number of contributions (max 3) and the related suggested grant, up to a total of € 40,000. This amount will be assigned to max 3 projects per Country carried out by non-profit organisations. The remaining € 20 thousand will be assigned at discretion of the Evaluation Committee to any country/projects among those submitted to the Foundation. This amount will be allocated to a maximum of 3 projects per country, presented by non-profit organizations. The total assigned will amount to € 480,000 and the remaining € 20,000 will be assigned at the discretion of the Evaluation Commission to one or more projects selected from those received by the Foundation.

By 15 April 2022, UniCredit Foundation will communicate the list of the beneficiaries to the banks and start
the assignment processes.
