Call Rest-Cent Italy 2023
UniCredit Foundation launches the Rest-Cent Italy 2023 initiative "to contrast educational poverty", to select two projects aimed at combating educational poverty in Italy, carried out by Third Sector Bodies ("ETS").
The two winning projects will be awarded an amount corresponding to the amount raised among all the staff of UniCredit Italy who will join the fundraising Rest-Cent Italy, with the donation of cents of their monthly salary. The total funds raised will be doubled by Unicredit Foundation in the limit of € 50,000. The Foundation reserves the right to evaluate the integration of this amount, if the amount collected through the donations of UniCredit staff should exceed € 50,000.
The Third Sector Entities concerned may submit their projects no later than 02 December 2022 (24.00 cet).
By the date of 23 December 2022 UniCredit Foundation will inform by e-mail the two winning Organizations, which will be the beneficiaries of the funds raised from 1 January to 31 December 2023. Important notice: the evaluation of applications is still ongoing and the beneficiary organisations will be notified by the end of January 2023. (*)
The amount raised will be donated in equal parts to the two winning organizations by 16 February 2024.
The projects, consistent with the objectives of the Call in terms of contrast child educational poverty, should be aimed at young people aged 11-19 (lower and upper secondary school), with particular focus on combating early school leaving, the acquisition of appropriate skills for the continuation of university studies and entry into the world of work.
Projects should have a minimum total duration of at least 6 months and should have a national or trans-regional impact. Preference will be given to projects that intend to experiment with forms of innovation, both in the fields of intervention and in the operational or methodological modalities chosen, in the contrast of forms of educational poverty of minors, with a clear indication of the targets and the modalities of tracking and measurability of the expected impact.
UniCredit Foundation reserves the right to evaluate, in agreement with UniCredit, the opportunity to organize an event to present the projects deemed worthy of the contribution.
HOW TO APPLY
To participate in the Call, Organizations must send the application to the Foundation by e-mail exclusively to restcentitaly@unicreditfoundation.org indicating in the subject "Name Organization + Project Name".
The organization must attach to the e-mail the following documents, otherwise exclusion from the Call:
1. a copy of the Statute and of the constitutive act of the association (if available, it is sufficient to indicate the link of the relevant web page) with indication of the registration number of the Third Sector Single National Register;
2. a copy of the last approved annual report (if available, please indicate the link to the relevant web page);
3. comprehensive presentation of the project proposal (max 4 A4 folders also PPT and possibly accompanied by photographic material);
4. Summary sheet and Statement on Conflicts of Interest, Combating Corruption and Other Violations of Law (Annex 1 to this Call);
5. Minutes of appointment of the company offices and composition of the Board of Directors in office, including name and surname, date of birth and Fiscal Code of each member.
Up to a maximum of 2 projects can be applied for by each Organisation involved; only one Project for each Organisation may be selected as a beneficiary of Rest-Cent Italy 2023.
UniCredit Foundation reserves the right to request from the Organization any other documentation it deems necessary in order to guarantee itself and guarantee UniCredit from risks also of a reputational nature, following the procedures of unicredit SpA for the management of the liberal distribution operations.
SELECTION PROCESS
After the closing of the Call, the Foundation will provide a formal verification of compliance with the requirements of the call by all applications.
The nominations that will pass this phase will be examined by a special Commission, composed of an exponent of the Foundation, an exponent of UniCredit SpA belonging to the structure "People & Culture" and an exponent of UniCredit Italy expert in the Third Sector.
Participation in the Call implies full and unconditional acceptance of what is contained in these Rules. Any violation of the provisions of these Rules will result in the exclusion from the Call.
