UniCredit S.p.A. (the "Company") - based on financial information provided by the Company that includes a capital trajectory under conservative assumptions and updated adverse macroeconomic scenarios - has received ECB authorization for the execution of the second tranche of the 2021 share buy-back programme for a maximum amount of Euro 1,000,000,000.00, equal to 32bps of the Company's CET1 ratio as of 2Q22. This will bring the total 2021 buy-back to around Euro 2,580,000,000 when combined with the already fully completed first tranche of the 2021 buy-back.
Commencement of the buy-back programme is dependent upon approval by shareholders of the Company at the Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting to be held on 14 September 2022 for which a Notice of Call was published on 27 July 2022. Please refer to the Company website for further details.
