UniCredit Bulbank launches a new Master’s degree programme.
UniCredit Bulbank and The University of National and World Economy (UNWE) have signed an agreement to create a joint Master’s programme in one of the most desired and attractive areas in the financial sphere – Quantitative Finance.
The two institutions will co-develop the curriculum to help create a closer link between science, education and business.
UniCredit Bulbank CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Teodora Petkova, underlined the need for qualified professionals and how their database management skills would be key for companies’ operations. UNWE Rector, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, also emphasised that partnering with UniCredit Bulbank would benefit both businesses and the University, educating our future economic and financial experts.
Under the new programme, students would have more career development opportunities and the chance to receive on-site knowledge from UniCredit’s experts.

The coordinator of the agreement on behalf of UniCredit Bulbank is Borislav Bangeev, Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Management Board. The programme will start in the 2021/2022 academic year.
Quantitative Finance is taught at a number of leading universities worldwide, such as Baruch College, City University of New York, Princeton University, Columbia University, University of Washington, University of Strathclyde, UK, Glasgow. UNWE will become the first university in Bulgaria to offer students the opportunity to study this Master's programme.
