Learn more about our first virtual Townhall with the Group CEO

2:00 Min

UniCredit people are our strongest key success factor. They can handle every situation and turn every challenge into opportunity. We also know that, coming from different countries and business areas, they have creative and innovative ideas.

To leverage this creativity and listen to our people’s ideas, we have launched a brand-new digital format, called “Townhall with our Group CEO”. It’s a one-hour virtual meeting with Jean Pierre Mustier, an internal guest speaker and five pre-selected colleagues who pitch their ideas in front of an internal audience.

The first edition took place earlier this week and was focused on the topic of business acceleration. Five colleagues, coming from different functions and countries have presented their ideas. Following the 3-minute pitch made by each colleague, a voting session was opened for the audience, who had the chance to choose their preferred idea, which will be further studied for implementation.

This series of events will continue, focusing on topics of a group wide importance for us.

Below you can read some reflections from our CEO and the guest speaker of the event:

“Innovation and creativity are very important, and we know that they are encouraged by diversity – mixing different people with different points of view. This brand-new virtual meeting was designed to give space to our people to express themselves and contribute to making our Group an even better place to grow personally and professionally.

The first edition of this series focused on business acceleration, because Covid-19 has called for a change of perspective. We have turned the challenges of these past months into opportunities, coming up with fresh ideas and new solutions. As One Team, we will continue to meet our clients’ changing needs and to accelerate our transformation journey, because at UniCredit, we are all part of the solution.”

Jean Pierre Muster, CEO UniCredit

“Innovation is a catalyst for change, leads to a higher degree of efficiency, increases the productivity and ultimately creates better products and services. It is one of the most important factors for sustainable growth and profits. It enables us to anticipate our customer’s needs, stand out of our competitors and therefore grow our business.

We experienced (and still are experiencing) how Covid-19 caused a sharp disruption for businesses and whole economies, affected our life and our habits… but at the same time forced us to innovate and adapt even more rapidly that we could foresee.”
