La Fotografia, the first in a four-part series of volumes edited and published by Skira in partnership with UniCredit, will be presented on Monday, January 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan.
Curated by Walter Guadagnini, Chairman of the UniCredit for Art Scientific Commission, this series will present the story of an art form that has changed mankind's perception of reality since the second half of the nineteenth century. All four volumes will include monographs written by the photography critic and curator Francesco Zanot, as well as academic research by numerous international experts.
At the book launch, presentations will be given by Massimo Vitta Zelman, CEO and President of Skira Editore SpA, Jean Claude Mosconi, Head of Artistic and Cultural Advisory at UniCredit, and Walter Guadagnini, curator and Chairman of the UniCredit for Art Scientific Commission. Moreover, the artists Mimmo e Francesco Jodice, who are important proponents of Italian photography, will also speak at this event.
