UniCredit has been selected again as an index component of Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe.
SAM Research, primary sustainability rating provider, announced the results of its Corporate Sustainability Assessment, which is the base of Dow Jones indexes annual review.
According to SAM Research Corporate Sustainability Assessment UniCredit improved its total score up to 83/100 (from 78/100 in 2011), above the banking industry group's average score, which totaled 59, confirming to be among the most sustainable companies in Europe and worldwide (minimum score threshold to be included was 77).
Globally UniCredit improved its scores throughout all three dimensions assessed: Economic, Environmental and Social.
