On its international tour through Europe, Filarmonica della Scala performed an extraordinary concert at Barbican Centre in London. Led by Riccardo Chailly and with the leading soloist Benjamin Grosvenor, the orchestra treated the audience to renditions of Giacomo Rossini, Semiramide Ouverture, Franz Liszt, Concert n 2 in la magg. and Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij, Sinfonia n 4 in fa min op. 36.
UniCredit has been supporting the orchestra as a partner since 2000 and in 2003 became its main partner. Jean Pierre Mustier, CEO of UniCredit and Chairman of Filarmonica della Scala, said he is pleased with the positive feedback from the audience: "With Filarmonica della Scala, we were able to present an extraordinary concert to the people of London.
