On Monday evening, during an official ceremony in Frankfurt, Jean Pierre Mustier was awarded "European Banker of the Year 2018" by the Journalists Association "The Group of 20+1" in the context of the "Euro Finance Week".
"The Group 20+1" is an association of leading international business and financial journalists based in Frankfurt am Main.
The CEO dedicated the award to all the UniCredit people, thanks to whose hard work this became possible. "At UniCredit, Do the right thing! is our guiding principle", he said. " As a bank, we believe we are an integral part of the societies where we operate and must be committed to supporting their growth and development".
