UniCredit's Private Investor Products business was named "Best Issuer" of the year at the German ZertifikateAwards 2020 and recently won the same nomination at the Italian Certificate Awards 2020 picking up three additional awards
In a year studded with extraordinary events that have disrupted our habits and our way of life, even the Italian Certificate Awards 2020 ceremony undergone a profound change in the way the event was held albeit recording a renewed interest in the world of certificates.
The event organized by Triboo and Certificati e Derivati, under the umbrella of the Certificate Journal, took place on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in digital mode.
The financial intermediaries, able to propose the best or the most original investment instruments were competing for the coveted prize in the 14 categories available in 14th Edition of this prestigious event.
UniCredit, after being recently rewarded "Best Issuer" at the German ZertifikateAwards 2020, stood out once again as the Issuer of the Year at the 14th edition of the Italian Certificate Awards 2020 winning:
· #1 prize as "BEST ISSUER OF THE YEAR" among 22 currently active issuers in Italy (already won in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018)

In addition, thanks to the excellent commercial effort by our Networks, UniCredit won two other awards for the quality of the distribution networks:
· #2 in the category special award "BEST DISTRIBUTION RETAIL NETWORK"
· #3 in the category special award "BEST DISTRIBUTION PRIVATE NETWORK"
During the voting stage, UniCredit distinguished itself with over 1800 listed certificates, in all 4 ACEPI categories, covering over 100 different underlyings being at the top in terms of market share in the investment segment for both the SeDeX and Cert-X markets.
