UniCredit and AIRC - Providing support for the most effective cure for cancer: research

Year after year, we renew our commitment to cancer research.
Our current initiative is to support AIRC as it faces its latest challenge: providing Italy with 4 oncogenomic units,
AIRC aims to open state-of-the-art structures to enable more than 100 researchers to plan customised therapeutic treatments in an increasing timely manner.

UniCredit has decided to adopt the unit opened at Naples university (Università Federico II).
UniCredit's financial support will last 5 years, enabling the unit to procure increasingly sophisticated technological equipment. This will make it possible for 10 groups of researchers to work in a fully synergic manner not only among themselves but also with researchers from other units in Milan, Turin and Rome.
