UniCredito Italiano has priced an Extendible Note

Yesterday UniCredito Italiano Bank (Ireland) p.l.c. has priced an Extendible Note for a total amount of US$2 billion via a syndicate group lead by Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch and co-managed by UBM and HVB.
The deal marks an important success for the new UniCredit Group representing the debut transaction in the US market, the first extendible note issued by an Italian issuer and the largest US$ debt financing ever done by an Italian Financial Institution.
The deal follows an extensive roadshow in New York with nearly 20 investors engaged in 1-on-1 meetings and has a coupon stepping up by 1bps every year from $Libor + 0.01% in the first year.
