"Europe is very important for UniCredit" said Federico Ghizzoni, CEO of UniCredit, "My Europe project plays a vital role in assuring the health of the European Union by enabling the youth of Europe to become more actively involved in the pursuit of shared goals".

24 students from the Universities in Naples and Parma took part in the writing contest and discussed European political and economic affairs with UniCredit's Top Management, as well as diplomats and renowned journalists. Students expressed then their visions of Europe and its future through articles that were evaluated by a dedicated jury.

Professor Manfred Pohl, the Chairman of ICCA and initiator of "My Europe" declared "I am eager to learn from young people what their Europe is like and how they imagine their future. We need to open our minds and support them on their way, a way that will lead us together to our common European future".
