UniCredit S.p.A appointed Andrea Maffezzoni as Head of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). He will report to Jean Pierre Mustier, UniCredit Group CEO, and his role will include assisting in defining, developing and implementing the Group's strategy.
Andrea Maffezzoni, who has been with UniCredit since 1998 covering different positions within the Group and is currently Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, will assume his new role on 1 April 2017.
Jean Pierre Mustier commented: "I look forward to working in his new role with Andrea Maffezzoni whose contributions to the implementation of the capital strengthening measures of the strategic plan were very valuable.
