The health and well-being of employees and customers is UniCredit's top priority.
UniCredit has taken decisive actions to guarantee Italian-wide service coverage for its clients while protecting the health of both its employees and customers.
In Italy, less than 30 per cent of UniCredit branches will remain open providing regional coverage thanks to a limited number of branch employees.
The designated branches will be open in the morning on alternate days and accessible by appointment only for pre-agreed services. All UniCredit client services are available remotely either by phone or by digital means. In the interest of everyone's health and safety, the bank strongly encourages all customers to make use of its remote services.
UniCredit is providing protection to all employees working in the open branches, including plexiglass separation screens, masks, disinfectant gel and gloves.
The list of open branches is available on the website www.unicredit.it and is continuously updated.
Furthermore, UniCredit continues to increase remote working for all staff where possible, and if not granting employees paid leave.
The Group will continue to actively monitor the situation, always act in everyone's best interests and do the right thing vis a vis all its stakeholders!
