UniCredit S.p.A ("UniCredit", the "Company") will commence the execution of the second tranche of the 2022 share buy-back programme, in the amount of circa Euro 1 billion, as soon as the first tranche of circa Euro 2.34 billion is completed.

The commencement of the second tranche reflects the Company's leading organic capital generation and CET1 ratio together with a robust liquidity position. It also confirms that the business can weather possible stress scenarios from a position of resilience and strength.

Together with the dividend this leads to a total 2022 distribution of Euro 5.25 billion, or a total yield of 15%, underlining
