Milano Music Week: 300 Events to Celebrate Music, Inclusivity and Innovation

Live concerts, workshops, DJ sets, talks and a contest for emerging talents: this and much more brought the 2024 Milano Music Week to life, a week entirely dedicated to music and its universe in this hectic city. UniCredit and UniCredit Allianz Vita, as Main Sponsors, renewed their support for this major event, reaffirming their commitment to promoting art and culture.
After seven intense days, the eighth edition of Milano Music Week came to a successful end: over 300 events turned the city into an open-air stage, attracting more than 60,000 people from all over Europe.
The crowd's enthusiasm confirmed the unique value of the initiative and a growing interest in the topics covered during the event, including new technologies, inclusivity, sustainability and the role of Italian music beyond national borders, in what has been a record-breaking year for live music in Italy.
Among the most anticipated moments was the final of the emerging talents contest, powered by UniCredit and UniCredit Allianz Vita. The three finalists had the opportunity to perform on the stage of the Closing Party, at the Dazio di Levante at the Arco della Pace, just before the highly anticipated live show of Venerus, the curator of the event. Among high-level performances, the duo Amore Audio won the first prize, showcasing their talent and originality.
UniCredit also engaged the public through a special initiative: the shared «Your buddy sound» playlist, created thanks to the contribution of hundreds of participants. More than 40 young people went around the city collecting songs that passers-by wanted to dedicate to their buddy, their best friend. The result is a collective playlist, full of different sounds but united by a common purpose: celebrating music as a universal language. A unique and creative way to embody the spirit of Milano Music Week.
