The UniCredit Art Collection is a living and growing resource with treasures that reflect our Group's pan-European identity. One of the artists present in our collection is Luca Pozzi, an artist inspired by the worlds of art, physics, multi-messenger cosmology and computer science.

2:00 min

The UniCredit Art Collection is one of the largest corporate collections in Europe, comprising tens of thousands of different assets, from ancient archaeological finds to classical and contemporary works of art. Our Collection is the result of the artistic choices and passion for art that has always characterised UniCredit.

We have paid special attention to promoting young and emerging artists from the countries where our Group is present, increasing the presence of contemporary works of art in the Collection.

We want to make art accessible to an ever wider public, so we asked some artists to tell us and explain what art is? What does it represent for them?

Born in Milan in 1983, Luca Pozzi graduated in Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and specialised in Computer Graphics and Systems.

Studying quantum gravity, cosmology and particle physics, his theoretical research finds expression through a series of hybrid installations. These are characterised by magnetic sculptures, levitating objects, VR / AR experiences, and a performative approach to photography. Through these works, he evokes an alienating feeling of suspended time and multi-dimensionality.

"Art Is a language; science is a language. Underlying language, however, Is Imagination. The abilitity to see beyond the visible, the ability to Imagine beyond the Impossible. Art rarely gives answer, It tends towards trascendence."

- Luca Pozzi
