Since the beginning of the crisis, UniCredit has worked closely with clients and colleagues to help the real economy

Covid-19 has had a severe impact on the economy and created enormous challenges for many families and businesses. UniCredit is committed to being #PartOfTheSolution and supporting individuals and companies of all sizes.

We do this via deferrals, loans, mortgages and ad hoc solutions designed to deal with purchases, future investments, expenses and overheads. We have also helped clients to access the numerous public support measures put in place by the governments of the countries in which we operate. We are also close to institutions, hospitals and associations providing them with the financial support they need.  

In August, we released our 2Q20 and 1H20 results showing how we have supported clients and communities across Europe during these challenging times. We have helped more than 300,000 clients with moratoria loans worth €35 billion and we granted nearly €7 billion of state guaranteed loans.
