During a recent Pitti press conference, presenting its new digital platform Pitti Connect dedicated to its fashion shows, the company unveiled a unique three-year partnership with UniCredit, with the bank also as the main sponsor of the initiative.

UniCredit’s Co-CEO of Commercial Banking Italy Andrea Casini explained that the bank wants to support the fashion sector and help it reach high potential international markets. He added that UniCredit intends to be a driver for change in support of fashion, one of Italy’s sectors of excellence.

The project is part of the UniCredit per l’Italia (UniCredit for Italy) initiative and is a component of the bank’s commitment to being #PartOfTheSolution for businesses and key sectors in these challenging times.

Pitti Connect is a platform allowing exhibitors, buyers and journalists to meet, creating new connections and business opportunities as well as generating new insights and intuitions. A strong focus will be placed on sustainability to support companies with a green drive in their business model.
