UniCredit Bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Pomozi.ba provide protective masks to almost 16,000 pensioners.
UniCredit Bank and NGO Pomozi.ba have provided 78,245 protective masks to almost 16,000 pensioners throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with their December pension.
“Pensioners are particularly vulnerable to the Covid-19 virus, so we provided them with protective masks to reduce their worries and fears in these challenging times. We hope that we have made the beginning of 2021 at least a little better for them. We owe a big thanks to UniCredit Bank, which is our long-term partner and friend, for recognising the importance of this action,” said the Association Pomozi.ba.
The protective masks were distributed to pensioners in Čapljina, Stolac, Tomislavgrad, Posušje, Uskoplje, Fojnica, Jajce, Rama, Bugojno, Kiseljak, Breza, Vareš, Olovo, Velika Kladuša, Sanski Most, Gradačac, Lukavac, Gračanica, Srebrenik, Živinice, Kalesija, Oraš , Odžak, Brčko, Prijedor, Doboj and Bijeljina.
UniCredit Bank d.d. Mostar said: ‘Client health and safety is our key priority, and support for our fellow citizens is important in these demanding and unpredictable times. Given the difficult situation in our country we partnered with the Pomozi.ba Association to provide protective masks to pensioners, which were distributed by employees over the past month. Aware of the responsibility we have towards the most health-sensitive of our fellow citizens, we want to take care of them and ensure that they can go about their lives as safely as possible.’’
