Who doesn’t love a spa day? While an indulgent full-body massage might not be possible, here are a few ways Elkette ensures some relaxation and recovery time by re-creating the spa experience at home.

1 EUCALYPTUS

Hang a small branch from your shower head and run the water hot to simulate a steam room.

2 FRUIT-INFUSED WATER

Flavoured water feels like a luxury but it couldn’t be easier to make. Try a combination like strawberry and cucumber. Just cut a handful of slices of each fruit, add them to a pitcher of water and refrigerate for a few hours to infuse.

3 TAKE A BATH OR DO A BODY SCRUB

Light some candles and sink in. Or jump in the shower and do a full body scrub. For an easy mix, combine 1 cup each of brown sugar, raw oatmeal and olive oil. Apply on dry skin while standing in the shower (to avoid a mess) and then rinse off.

4 FACE MASK

These are easy to do with the natural remedies and ingredients that we have at home or can get from the supermarket!

5 EYE SOOTHER

Working in front of the computer all day makes your eyes tired. Cucumber slices are great for reducing swelling, but you can also use tea bags. Chamomile is a natural anti-inflammatory and will ease redness and puffiness. Steep in just-boiled water for a few minutes, cool in the fridge and then place one bag over each eye for 15 minutes.
