Tibet, Tesori dal Tetto del Mondo Historic Exhibition in Treviso
UniCredit is the main sponsor of the exhibition Tibet, Tesori dal Tetto del Mondo ("Tibet, Treasures from the Roof of the World"), which will be held at Casa dei Carraresi in Treviso. More than 300 pieces of Tibetan artwork and objects will be on display from October 20, 2012 to June 2, 2013.
Curated by China scholar Professor Adriano Màdaro, this historic event marks the first time those objects are given to an art exhibition organized and held abroad.
The exhibition is divided into five thematic sections to include geographical maps and documents, masks worn by Tibetan monks, traditional clothing and jewelry, and votive statues and objects carved from human bones.
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to admire Tibetan artwork and artifacts spanning historical periods.
