Filarmonica della Scala plays for free in Milan
Filarmonica della Scala, together with its main partner UniCredit and Allianz, will perform a free concert on Saturday, June 1 in the Piazza del Duomo in Milan at 9.30 pm. Maestro Riccardo Chailly will conduct with Stefano Bollani featured on the piano.
The celebrated Chailly-Bollani duo is a model of great vitality and innovation, traits that are essential in fostering new ideas that lead to memorable musical experiences.
The concert will cap off the month-long Expo Days 2013 citywide event, during which Chailly and Bollani will be presented with a platinum CD of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. This 2010 recording was listed on the musical pop charts for more than 30 weeks.
At UniCredit, we are particularly proud to be part of this extraordinary event, which we believe will long be remembered.
