#wearetowerparade: A Creative and United Initiative From June 5 to 30
From June 5 to 30, Milan will experience a peaceful invasion of sorts - with the arrival of #wearetoweroarade, an event in which 31 scale models of the UniCredit Tower, Italy's tallest building, will be placed in prominent locations throughout the city.
The miniature towers were created by 27 designers and students from four Italian art schools; addressing the theme, "rooted in the future," they represent the latest in a series of initiatives to commemorate UniCredit's 15th anniversary.
#wearetowerparade will celebrate Milan's new skyline with the diverse collection of two-meter models that reimagine the UniCredit Tower; the project also directs public attention to a good cause through its connection to charitable initiatives that invest in youth.
Each "like" received by images of the 31 towers on the towerparade.it website will result in the UniCredit Foundation's making a contribution to seven non-profit organizations that help young people find jobs throughout Italy.
Members of the public can also make their own personal contributions through the towerparade.it website to any of the seven non-profits. Each of the organizations is being supported by the UniCredit Foundation throughout their respective start-up phases.
With #wearetowerparade, we at UniCredit confirm our support and solidarity for the communities where we work. We believe that creativity connects the past to the future and serves a vital role in signaling important new trends and innovations.
