Concerto per Milano 2019

On Sunday June 9 at 9.30 p.m., the Concerto per Milano will be held in Piazza del Duomo, Milan, directed by the Maestro Riccardo Chailly. This is the most eagerly awaited free orchestral event of early summer.

 

The seventh edition of this public concert is organized by the Filarmonica della Scala and it is part of the UniCredit-sponsored Open Filarmonica project, which includes, the "Filarmonica della Scala Open Rehearsals", the "Sound, Music!" initiative for primary school children and the Scholarship Program for young talented musicians.

 

The programme is particularly exciting. It includes Dvořák's New World Symphony and several pieces by Nino Rota.

 

Rai Cultura will broadcast the concert on: Rai 5 in HD, the RaiPlay web portal and Radio 3.

Thanks to RaiCom the concert can be watched live in Germany, France, French-speaking countries in Europe, Greece, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Slovenia, and after the event in South Korea, Japan, China and some countries in North Africa and the Middle East.
