Conducted on an annual basis, Euromoney's Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey provides a qualitative review of the best services in private banking by region and by area of service. This year, the survey was completed by private banks and wealth managers from a wide range of private banking institutions across 99 countries who were asked to identify the firms that they consider to be their top competitors.
"We are delighted that our Private Banking services have been recognised by Euromoney's prestigious programme," says Gianfranco Bisagni and Niccolò Ubertalli, Co-CEOs Commercial Banking, Central Eastern Europe at UniCredit. "On the back of a highly active year for our investment clients, these accolades recognise our specialised services for high-net-worth clients and families, as well as international clients and businesses. It is also an honour to have been singled out for our ESG-related investment services in CEE, demonstrating our strength in this growing field as well as our passion for generating measurable social and environmental benefits for our clients, while furthering their long-term strategic goals. For the hard work and dedication they have put in, our thanks go out to our excellent team, as well as to our valued clients, without whom none of these could have been achieved."
The survey results add to an increasing list of wins for UniCredit in CEE. Recent honours include Best Trade Finance Bank in CEE and Best Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Provider in CEE at Global Finance's Trade and Supply Chain Finance Awards 2021. In 2020, the bank also picked up the award for Best Bank for Transaction Services in Central & Eastern Europe - along with five other accolades - in Euromoney's Awards for Excellence 2020.
