UniCredit has received top honours at The Banker´s 2021 Investment Banking Awards in the category 'Investment Bank of the Year for Private Placements'.
According to the judging panel, UniCredit is 'clearly a leading player in this space - delivering excellent results for clients and embracing innovative approaches to structuring to achieve the best outcomes'.
This prestigious recognition, won by UniCredit for the first time, is testament to the bank's outstanding origination, structuring and distribution capabilities for private placements across a large number of transactions, as well as its excellence in providing holistic and market-leading advisory services alongside a comprehensive product range that few competitors can match.
UniCredit covers Schuldscheindarlehen (SSDs), including sustainability-linked instruments, as well as registered bonds, single-documentation bonds, medium-term notes, minibonds and basket bonds, whilst being the only arranger that is equally strong in both EUR private placement bonds (#1 YTD) and SSDs (#1 YTD).
Commenting on the win, Richard Burton, UniCredit´s Head of Corporate & Investment Banking, added: "This latest award success speaks to our teams´ solutions expertise, distribution capabilities and dedication to supporting each client - from large multinationals to SMEs - with the same level of quality and customisation."
