UniCredit communicates that Mr. Khadem Al Qubaisi, independent Board member and Vice Chairman of the Company, resigned today with immediate effect given his impossibility, notwithstanding his best efforts, to fulfill the duties connected to the position due to the burden of significant competing professional obligations.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, also on behalf of the CEO, his colleagues and the Statutory Auditors, expressed to the Deputy Chairman Mr. Al Qubaisi his hearty thanks for the contribution given up to today.
The Corporate Governance, HR and Nomination Committee and the Board of Directors will, within the frame of their respective competencies and during the course of their coming meetings, adopt the relevant resolutions in order to have the Company's Board restored to its full membership.
