UniCredit announces that Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG ("HVB"), has entered today into an agreement with Nordea Bank Finland plc to acquire a further 26.4% of ZAO International Moscow Bank ("IMB") voting capital for a consideration of ca. USD 395 million.
As a result of the acquisition, HVB's overall shareholding in IMB's voting capital would increase from ca. 52.9% to ca. 79.3%.
The closing of the transaction is subject to certain condition precedents, including the approval by the responsible authorities.
