Matthias Sohler, currently responsible for Group Organization, is going to leave UniCredit Group on 31st December 2008 to take over the responsibility of Head of Europe Financial Services in the German consultancy and financial services firm Xchanging.
Starting from the 1st October 2008 Paolo Tripodi, currently Principal in the UniCredit Management Consultancy Unit, will take over his position. Paolo Tripodi joined UniCredit Group coming from Value Partner in May 2007, and was project leader of various key strategic projects. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA (Bocconi University). His previous experiences include Bain & Co. as well as Boston Consulting Group.
UniCredit Group thanks Mr. Sohler for the contribution and support provided during the integration process of HVB.
