Results of the meeting among Profumo, Cuffaro and Puglisi
BdS as support to the sustainable development of the Island
In the meeting held today in UniCredit's headquarter, in an equanimous atmosphere, among the CEO Alessandro Profumo, the Governor of the Sicilian Region Salvatore Cuffaro and the Chairman of Banco di Sicilia Foundation, the common interest was verified of having a BdS leader of the operations in the Island, committed to the economic growth of Sicily and strongly inserted in the UniCredit Group and its Governance rules. In order to develop an operating evolution that allows to improve the climate, all parties are undertaking to implement non distressing solutions. Moreover, it was agreed to: review the agreement between the Sicilian Region and UniCredit, maintain the faculty of the Region to nominate its representatives in the BdS Board of Directors, review and increase the lending authorities to support the Sicilian entrepreneurship and create - together with the BdS Foundation - a socio economic observatory on the Island.
