With reference to today's press coverage of the "Brontos" matter, UniCredit confirms its position - as already made public on October 19th, 2011 - that both the Bank and its current and past executives and employees, acted correctly and properly in relation to this matter. UniCredit clarifies that the Bank is not evaluating legal action against Alessandro Profumo or any other employees. Any other statement or rumor based on different assumptions is completely groundless, highly damaging to the reputation of the Bank and of its executives and employees and is therefore categorically denied by the Bank.
