Following the appointment of Robert Zadrazil as new Chief Executive Officer of Bank Austria starting on March 1, UniCredit announces some further appointments in Austria, as well as in Croatia and Serbia. In Austria, effective as of March 1st, Romeo Collina - currently working as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Deputy CEO at Zagrebačka banka - will be appointed as Chief Operating Officer at UniCredit Bank Austria AG.
In this respect, in the upcoming weeks the following appointments - that are subject to receiving all the regulatory approvals required - will take place.
Effective as of May 1st, Claudio Cesario - current Chief Executive Officer at UniCredit Bank in Serbia - is designated to fill in the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Zagrebačka banka in Croatia.
At the same time, Mauro Maschio - currently working as General Manager and First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Ukrsotsbank (UniCredit Bank Ukraine) - will become Chief Executive Officer at UniCredit Bank in Serbia. The appointment will take place right after the completion of the deal with Alfa Group on Ukrsotsbank, which was announced on 11 January 2016.
Commenting on the changes, Carlo Vivaldi - Head of CEE Division - stated "I would like to thank Romeo, Claudio and Mauro for their strong past contribution within the respective challenging environments, while wishing them all the best in their new important roles".
