UniCredit: signed agreement with Bank Pekao for the disposal of Pioneer Pekao Investment Management SA, Pekao Pioneer PTE SA and Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion SP. Z O.O.

In line with the press release issued on December 8th, 2016, UniCredit S.p.A. has entered into an agreement with Bank Pekao S.A., for the disposal of the participations in Pioneer Pekao Investment Management S.A., Pekao Pioneer PTE S.A. and Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion sp. Z O.O. As a result of this transaction Bank Pekao S.A. will be the sole shareholder of the aforementioned companies.

 

The aggregate consideration for the transaction is equal to Euro 142 millions.

 

Closing of the transaction, subject to regulatory approval, is expected for the second half of 2017 completing the disposal of the activities in Poland which was announced with the Transform 2019 plan.
