UniCredit appoints Jérôme Frizé as Global Head of Financial Institutions Group

UniCredit today announced that Jérôme Frizé has been appointed Global Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division reporting to Gianfranco Bisagni and Olivier Khayat, Co-Heads of CIB.

Mr. Frizé  replaces Vincenzo Tortorici who has decided to leave the bank to pursue other opportunities.  Mr. Frizé is currently Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) France.  His new appointment is effective 1 February 2017 and he will be based in Milan.

Gianfranco Bisagni and Olivier Khayat, Co-Heads of Corporate & Investment Banking at UniCredit, said: "We are delighted to name Jérôme Frizé as Global Head of Financial Institutions Group where his expertise and successful track-record in serving financial institutions will be a key asset as we further strengthen FIG's role as a major contributor to a fully-plugged in and client-focussed CIB.  We thank Vincenzo for  his commitment and energy leading the FIG franchise, and previously the Corporate Finance Advisory business, and the significant contribution he has made to CIB's success over the past four years and we wish him every success in his future endeavours."

Prior to joining UniCredit in 2013 as Head of FIG France, Mr. Frizé  served as Head of FIG France at Dresdner Kleinwort and as a Senior Banker covering leading French financial institutions at RBS.  He is a graduate of Neoma Business School and holds a Master's degree from Université Paris-Dauphine and the ESSEC Advanced Master's Degree in Financial Techniques.
