UniCredit announces an agreement with Guber Banca and Barclays Investments Bank and Banca IFIS for the disposal of an unsecured non performing Italian leasing loans portfolio, on a non-recourse basis (pro-soluto).
The portfolio consists entirely of Italian exposures with a gross claim value of approximately € 154 million as of 30 June 2019.The impact is expected to be reflected in the fourth quarter 2019 financial statements.
Guber Banca and Barclays Investments Bank have bought, through a securitisation vehicle "SPV", a portion of the portfolio with a Claim Value of approximately € 112 million and Banca IFIShas bought approximately € 42 million.
The sale is part of UniCredit's on-going strategy to reduce non-performing exposures.
