UniCredit today announces a number of managerial changes in Group Risk Management and the Group Lending Office. These appointments are in line with UniCredit's "One Team" approach, supporting the Group's ambition to enhance the exchange of ideas across countries and divisions while providing employees with additional growth opportunities.
Juergen Kullnigg will take over the position of Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bank AG, effective November 1, 2020. Juergen builds on a solid risk and lending background including experience in the same role for UniCredit in Italy, CEE and Austria. He is currently Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Management Board in Unicredit Bank Austria AG.
Wolfgang Schilk will succeed Juergen Kullnigg as Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Management Board in Unicredit Bank Austria AG effective November 1, 2020. Wolfgang is currently Head of CRO CEE, where he is responsible for the governance and control of credit operations activities in the CEE division as well as for transactions exceeding the limits of CEE Legal Entities.
Davide Bazzarello will succeed Wolfgang Schilk as Head of CRO CEE effective from January 1, 2021. During the period from November to January, Wolfgang Schilk, currently in the role, will continue to oversee the Head of CRO CEE. Davide Bazzarello builds on an extensive Risk Management experience with various roles across the Group. He is currently Head of Group Credit & Integrated Risks.
