Bank picks up the awards for:
- 'Best Internal Communication Change Strategy' with BEST4Digital, a project dedicated to the employees of UniCredit's Italian network.
- 'Best Internal Communication Digital Platform' with U-City, UniCredit's first online learning business game to support digital transformation
UniCredit has picked up two accolades from FEIEA, a pan-European organization representing European internal communicators, of which UniCredit is part of as a member of ASCAI, an association of Italian corporate communicators.
On 2 December, as part of the FEIEA Awards Ceremony 2021, the bank won first place in two categories: 'Best Internal Communication Change Strategy' with BEST4Digital, a project dedicated to the employees of UniCredit's Italian network, and 'Best Internal Communication Digital Platform' with U-City, UniCredit's first online learning business game to support digital transformation. With U-City, UniCredit also won gold in the 'Future Workforce' category at the eighth edition of the Efma-Accenture Distribution & Marketing Innovation Awards 2021.
BEST4Digital, is a program dedicated to the employees of the Italian network that aims to accelerate digital transformation and improve skills and knowledge of the bank's digital products and services, including through multiple initiatives of communication, change management and training, including the involvement of 2,800 digital ambassadors.
Among the many initiatives of BEST4Digital is U-City, a project launched in March 2021 and completed in July of the same year. This is UniCredit's first online learning business game aimed at reinforcing knowledge of the bank's digital services through gamification. The objective of the game is to transform an imaginary city, making it a futuristic metropolis where respect for the environment and the adoption of new technologies are key assets in order to make U-City as digital and sustainable as possible.
"We are particularly proud of the FEIEA award, the European association that awards prizes to the best corporate communicators, born out of collaboration by several different departments, which worked as a team to create the BEST4Digital initiative, which includes the U-City project, and has also recently received an award from Efma - commented Ilaria Dalla Riva, Head of People & Culture Italy at UniCredit. Digital transformation remains a strategic objective for us. Harnessing the power of digitalisation and applying it across the board to strategies, processes and services in order to support our people and customers is a key priority for us," she concluded.
