UniCredit Main partner of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival

Since 1994 UniCredit has been a Main Partner of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival, the most spectacular opera festival in the world. Conscious of culture's value as an engine of social and economic development, we have been supporting this Italian excellence for more than 30 years. In line with our purpose of Empowering Communities to Progress, we believe that building strong relationships with our key stakeholders creates long-term value and collective growth.

The collaboration between UniCredit and Fondazione Arena di Verona represents a union between two great institutions - leaders of expressing, in their respective fields, a national and international vocation, testifying to the Bank's broader commitment to the cultural and artistic sector and, this year in particular, to learning as a concrete testimony of trust in the new generations.

In fact, this partnership is the starting point for the learning and professional growth project U Are Invited, developed by Fondazione Arena di Verona in collaboration with Teach for Italy (TFI) - a third sector organisation that works to strengthen Italian public schools starting from the contexts where the challenges related to educational poverty are biggest. The initiative aims to open the world of work in the Theater to the network of TFI schools, offering concrete opportunities to learn about the professions of art and entertainment alongside great professionals.

2025 Arena di Verona Opera Festival

The 102nd Arena di Verona Opera Festival 2025 will open its doors from 13 June to 6 September 2025. The season will be full of events, with 51 evenings of performances including operas, concerts, events and dances in the iconic Roman amphitheater.

The 2025 Festival features a series of iconic opera performances, each of which will be presented with new conductors and interpretations, bringing freshness and originality to the timeless classics. One of the most anticipated events is the new production of Nabucco, one of Giuseppe Verdi’s most beloved opera perfromances, which will showcase the talent of contemporary direction by Stefano Poda. Also eagerly awaited will be the revival of Aida, which enchants with its breathtaking settings and famous arias.

The season will continue with other Verdi opera performances, including La Traviata, which will feature the elegance of Hugo De Ana, who has captured the essence of the Belle Époque with a visually fascinating interpretation, enriched by elaborate sets and dream costumes. There will also be the historic Carmen by Georges Bizet, with a monumental production that reinterprets the classic stagings thanks to the iconic vision of Franco Zeffirelli.

The Festival also includes special events, such as the Jonas Kaufmann's Gala, the spectacular dance of Roberto Bolle and Friends, Carmina Burana, Viva Vivaldi.

All the shows of the 102nd Arena di Verona Opera Festival 2025 are already on sale.
