As a testament of our longstanding support to the Arena di Verona Opera Festival, the Roman Amphitheatre was recently restored thanks to a joint grant from UniCredit and Fondazione Cariverona, a concrete action to help one of the greatest Italian symbols known worldwide, shine in even more beauty.
Through our contribution to the restoration, we have helped to make this stage not just a performance venue, but an open-air museum, unique and unmatched.
UniCredit is proud to renew its support and celebrate the 101st season of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival in 2024.
2024 Arena di Verona Opera Festival
The 101st Arena di Verona Opera Festival, the world's most spectacular opera festival for which UniCredit has been a Major Partner since 1994 will open its doors this year on June 7, concluding on September 7.
The 2024 season features six evening events: "La Grande Opera Italiana Patrimonio dell'Umanità" on June 7; the spectacular dance of "Roberto Bolle and Friends" will return for two dates, July 23 and 24; and on Aug. 11, the Arenian ensembles will feature an evening event with "Beethoven's Ninth Symphony" and its hymn to joy.
On Aug. 21, Plácido Domingo returns for an evening of Spanish atmospheres; on Aug. 27 and 28, the ballet "Zorba the Greek" will be staged; and on Sept. 1, the second operatic-symphonic event will be held with Orff's compelling "Carmina Burana."
As per tradition, numerous opera productions, including Turandot, Aida, and The Barber of Seville, will enrich the 2024 program.
