Meet Vesna Mrazovac, Relationship Manager Assistant at UniCredit Croatia
My name is Vesna, and I am experienced banker with 17 working years of working in a multinational banking environment mainly within customer relationship and sales areas. Currently, I hold the role of a Senior Assistant of International Clients Relationship Manager. In addition to my main role, I am also a proud knowledge-sharing ambassador and content curator for Corporate Department, as well as the Well-being Officer within Bank’s Well-being committee.
I am very committed and passionate about my work and relationship with my clients, supporting them in day-to-day business, advising them, and finding the best solutions for their needs. I really do consider work to be one of my main drivers, mostly because I do not see it as a job, rather as a life path.
Thus, I am also always pleased to find extra time to share knowledge and experience with my colleagues, whether it’s a banking topic, well-being, or personal skills in general, like creativity, critical thinking and communication skills. Thanks to the variety of opportunities that I have gained working at UniCredit, I also gained experience as a coach and agile master, which broadened my professional views in the most significant way.
It is very important for me to live a balanced life
My family always comes first, and it’s the approach to work-life balance that I consider one of the biggest benefits of UniCredit. This approach enables me to enjoy many of my hobbies. I am a proud member and President of the Supervisory Board of the Croatian Mountaineering Society “Sisak”, while also being certified mountain guide and a trainee for hikers. I also strive to engage in numerous volunteering activities, like reading bedtime stories to children in hospital or supporting women associations. Helping those in need is something very close to my heart, as not so long ago, we had an earthquake in Sisak, and I lost my apartment. The support that I got from my colleagues and the Bank was immeasurable and empowered me to be best version of myself in all fields.
Three words to describe my personality:
cheerfulness, persistence, positivity.
Three words to describe my job:
dedication, reliability, and persistence.
Meet Laura Bruno, Convertible Bonds Trader at UniCredit Group
I started my career at UniCredit Germany as an Equity Derivatives Trader, and I have always loved how dynamic this job is: it gives you an incredibly steep learning curve, and every day goes by extremely fast. As a trader, not only do you have to be able to make decisions quickly and have an analytical mindset, but you also have to be creative and think outside of the box to solve complex analytical problems, connecting all the dots.
After two years in Munich, I moved to Milan, and I switched to my current role - Convertible Bonds Trader, providing liquidity for our institutional clients on Convertibles, a very niche asset class. I love the international environment in our Milan office! With people coming from around the world, you always have the possibility to broaden your views and challenge your way of thinking.
At UniCredit, the structure is very dynamic
Even if you have only a few years of experience, you will be heard and rewarded for your commitment and achievements. New generations are given a lot of opportunities to flourish, and people are open to questioning the “old way of doing things” and implement new ideas to ensure progress. For example, I have been selected to represent my department in the “Next Gen Community”, one of our employee networks, which aims to provide more space to young voices, promote bottom-up initiatives and facilitate cross-generational exchanges.
Personally, I am a big fan of traveling
I love meeting people from different cultures to gain different perspectives. During my university years, I lived in Australia and Japan - the two most life-changing experiences I have ever done. After a busy day, I like cooking, and I am always happy to try new recipes. I also try to find time to stay active and work out, like going to the gym or doing yoga. During the weekends, I like painting with watercolours, which helps me unwind after a busy week at work.
Three words to describe my personality:
proactive, energetic, creative.
Three words to describe my job:
analytical, dynamic, fast-paced.
