UniCredit continues to demonstrate its support for Italian companies affected by the Covid-19 emergency with €21.5 million of new funding for Elettra Investimenti

Elettra Investimenti is an innovative energy company that focuses on power generation, including from alternative sources, and the management of highly efficient plants for eco-environmental sustainability.

The €21.5 million loan –  completed digitally – has been realised partly thanks to the guarantees issued by SACE as part of the Garanzia Italia programme and partly thanks to the issue of a minibond by UniCredit.

The funding will be used to support the Elettra’s investment plan for 2020-21. This financing demonstrates once again that UniCredit is actively working on all possible solutions envisaged by the Liquidity Decree.

Fabio Massimo Bombacci, CEO of Elettra Investimenti, said: “I have to thank UniCredit and SACE for their support. Even at a complicated and difficult time like the present, they’ve put us in a position to push and still be able to grow our business.”
