All colleagues in Italy must now wear face masks inside all UniCredit buildings and branches, as well as outdoors on our premises

The Italian Government has announced that it is now mandatory to wear face masks in all outdoor and indoor spaces, with the exception of private homes. With these new regulations in place for at least one week until 15th October, we inform you that effective immediately, all colleagues in Italy must wear face masks inside all our buildings and branches, as well as when outdoors on our premises.

You are allowed to remove your mask if you are sitting at your desk completely alone in a room. This means that if you are sitting at the desk and other colleagues are working in the same room, even if respecting the recommended safe-distance rules, you are required to wear your face mask.

Please note that this measure supersedes the relevant Golden Rules, which you can still check here to find out more about other best practices to avoid the spread of the virus.

Finally, we recommend once again that you download Immuni, the Government Covid-19 contact-tracing app, available from the App and Play Store as well as the official website.

By installing it, you can play your part in the fight against the pandemic and help protect your family and colleagues.

We will continue to monitor the evolution of the pandemic at national level and keep you updated in case of further changes.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and continue to… Do the Right Thing!
