The results of the semi-annual review of the FTSE4Good indices of September 2012 have been announced.
FTSE Group confirms that UniCredit has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria and has satisfied the requirements to be included as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series.
Positive results also from FTSE4Good ESG Ratings: UniCredit absolute score improved to 4.7 out of 5 (4.3 in the last semi-annual review in March 2012). Due to its sustainability performance, UniCredit has been selected among the FTSE4Good Leaders group and currently is ranked as the second best bank in Europe, according to the FTSE4Good ESG Ratings Supersector and Regional Leaders classification.
Another important result for UniCredit follows the confirmation in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (World and Europe) as the best Italian bank, achieving the highest global score (83 out of 100).
