Celebrating leadership, courage, and endurance in the fight for educational equity.

2:00 min

UniCredit Foundation has been awarded this year’s Tiger Award by Teach For All, a recognition that highlights a game-changing support for educational equity worldwide.

The award, which symbolises leadership, courage, and endurance, honours UniCredit Foundation’s unwavering commitment to empowering our youth across Europe, also through the transformative three-year partnership with Teach For All, aimed to provide quality education to underserved schools and promote education equality.

In 2024 alone, we have recruited and trained 945 teachers reaching over 54,000 students in underserved schools in Italy, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania and Slovakia. In addition, through innovative initiatives like EduAction Week, UniCredit Foundation engaged volunteers for over 50 activities, directly benefiting more than 900 students by developing the skills they’ll need for the future.

"We are honoured that UniCredit Foundation has been recognised for its efforts in enhancing educational system across our continent, ensuring all children have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Together with Teach For All, we strive to build a quality school that places students at the centre of the learning experience - empowering them to thrive, valuing and respecting them regardless of background, and paving the way to a fairer and more just society
said Silvia CappelliniUniCredit Foundation General Manager.

This recognition celebrates our shared vision for a brighter future through education, and we’re just getting started. We have set ambitious goals to expend our endeavours, reaching more countries across Europe and positively impacting more than 206,000 students by 2026.
