FISU Winter Games: Young Stars, Culture, and Inclusion in Turin

Today marks the conclusion of the XXXII edition of the FISU World University Winter Games, the world’s most important university sports event, for which UniCredit and UniCredit Allianz Assicurazioni have been Main Sponsors. The event saw over 3,000 university athletes from 58 countries competing in Piedmont.

This end is a new beginning

For the first time in the history of this event, Paralympic university athletes competed too, making the 2025 edition the most inclusive ever… up until now: we believe this is the first step toward more inclusive and fair sports at all levels.

Inclusion, equity, fair play, and performance orientation are values we deeply resonate with, and we strive to keep them alive every day, including through our support of high-level events like the FISU World University Games.

What took place at the FISU Village

With the closing ceremony, our adventure at the FISU Village also comes to an end: an open and stimulating environment designed to energize the city and allow visitors to experience the spirit of the FISU World University Winter Games.

UniCredit and UniCredit Allianz Assicurazioni were present with two thematic spaces inside the ICE CUBE. The first featured two snowscooter simulators that, through special virtual reality headsets, allowed participants to challenge their friends and receive gadgets to use on mountain outings.

The second was a real mountain refuge… in the city, where visitors could meet our consultants to learn about the buddy initiative and the sports module of the My Care Famiglia insurance policy.
