UNICREDIT’S ”NEW VISION” FOR THE FASHION INDUSTRY

Digital events in Florence, Milan and Rome will focus on how to restart the fashion industry
The age of new visions kicks-off today, as part of the bank’s UniCredit per l’Italia campaign. The digital forum has been organised by UniCredit in collaboration with Pitti Immagine, Camera della Moda, Altaroma and Nomisma. At events in Florence, Milan and Rome, Nomisma will present its analysis of a sample of Italian fashion and luxury companies.
The topics touched on during the events will be:
- the new approach to communications and to consumers
- innovative use of digital
- increased awareness of sustainability and ethics
The first event, held today in Florence, focuses on new communication models and on the profile of new consumers.
The event was opened by Francesco Giordano, Co-CEO Commercial Banking Western Europe at UniCredit; Carlo Capasa, President Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (Italian Fashion Chamber); Tommaso Sacchi, Culture Assessor at Florence’s City Council and Antonella Mansi, Vice President, Pitti Immagine.
The forum, coordinated by Cristiano Seganfreddo, President and Editor of Flash Art, will see presentations by:
- Raffaello Napoleone, Managing Director of Pitti Immagine;
- Maria Luisa Frisa, Critic and Fashion Curator and Director of the course in Fashion Design and multimedia arts – Iuav in Venice;
- Livia Firth, Co-founder and creative director of Eco-Age;
- Claudio Marenzi, President and CEO of Herno;
- Roberta Benaglia, CEO Style Capital; and
- Matteo Lunelli, President of Altagamma.
Commenting on the event programme, Andrea Casini, Co-CEO Commercial Banking Italy, said: “The age of new visions demonstrates our commitment to being a strategic partner for companies in the Italian fashion industry. This new initiative is one of the many organised by UniCredit to support Italy’s business environment. Our objective is support constructive dialogue and give a voice to the sector’s main stakeholders so we can work together to understand how to restart.”
After Florence, The age of new visions will move to Milan on 24 November and Rome on 1 December.
