Art as an enchantment and the artist as a magician: a Great Magic that title the new exhibition of the UniCredit Art Collection, realized in cooperation with MAMbo, Museum of Modern Art of Bologna.

This important exhibit will inaugurate the MAMbo exposition season and will be open to the public from October 20, 2013 to February 16, 2014. The curators, Gianfranco Maraniello - MAMbo director and Walter Guadagnini - Chairman of the Scientific Commission UniCredit for Art, together with Bärbel Kopplin, curator of the collection HypoVereinsbank-UniCredit, have selected 93 works that will lead us the way in this path through magic in art from the 16th Century to today.

Exhibition visitors will be taken through eight thematic sections that address the magic of art and the spells it has cast from the 16th century to today, including photography, cinema and technological innovations of the 19th century that were at the time considered mysterious.
